About the Podcast
The Forbidden Narratives Podcast emerged from a deep concern over the erosion of democratic principles and the rule of international law. From ongoing global conflicts to the suppression of free speech, our establishment prioritizes power, financial interests, and geopolitical dominance over justice, peace, and individual freedoms. We refuse to stay silent any longer.
Through in-depth conversations with diverse voices and expert interviews, this podcast uncovers the truth behind media and governmental narratives. Join us as we challenge the status quo and work to promote true democratic values for all.

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”

About the Host
Julien Roussel is an award-winning media professional with two decades of experience in film, TV, and new media. He holds an MFA in Film and TV Directing from the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles.
Born to a Swiss mother and an Italian father with Palestinian heritage, Julien’s diverse background informs his global perspective. A dual citizen of Switzerland and the United States, he approaches global issues with a commitment to human dignity that transcends borders. His values are grounded in the belief that all life is sacred, deserving of respect, dignity, and protection, regardless of nationality, race, or circumstance.
Julien believes that the truest form of patriotism lies in defending the values enshrined in the U.S. Constitution—especially the First Amendment. As the Supreme Court affirmed in Bond v. Floyd (1966), the Constitution protects your right to speak out—even when you question the fairness of the law, the integrity of institutions, or the competence of government officials. That freedom isn’t just a right Julien honors and seeks to protect—it’s a foundational value of Forbidden Narratives, alongside the pursuit of freedom, justice, and dignity for all.
