Ahed Tamimi is a Palestinian activist from Nabi Salih, West Bank, known globally for her resistance against the Israeli occupation. Born in 2001, she gained international recognition as a teenager for her defiant confrontations with Israeli soldiers. Tamimi is currently studying law at Birzeit University, aiming to hold the occupation accountable through legal means. She continues to advocate for Palestinian rights and remains a symbol of resilience and resistance.
Dena Takruri is a journalist and senior presenter at AJ+, originally from San Francisco, California. She holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley and an MA in Arab Studies from Georgetown University. Known for her compelling storytelling and in-depth reporting on social justice and international conflicts, Takruri brings attention to marginalized voices and global issues. She currently resides in Washington, D.C., continuing her work in journalism and activism.
